Abu Dhabi, the island of tranquility is where Rolls-Royce has opted to open its largest showroom with the target to push the luxury brand further into the Middle East.

The Umm Al Nar area of Abu Dhabi now houses the new advanced facility that was unveiled my Torsten Muller Oyvos, CEO of Rolls – Royce Motor Cars and inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and His Excellency Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori UAE, Minister of Economy.

Rolls-Royce-Abu-Dhabi-DealershipThe dealership includes 900 square meters or 10,000 square feet of showroom space, which includes a customer configuration lounge, coffee bar and enough floor space to showcase five vehicles in uncluttered opulence. This is really something as the company presently offers only four variants across two model ranges. There’s a Rolls-Royce servicing facility nearby as well.

Torsten Müller-Ötvös said, “The showroom opening in Abu Dhabi represents one of a line of new and expanded Rolls‑Royce showrooms which have been unveiled throughout the Gulf region in the last 18 months. These investments underline the continuing confidence that the company sees in the Rolls-Royce brand across the Middle East.” He continued, “The Middle East region continues to be an important driver in the global growth of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Last year the region contributed over 15% of our global sales. Abu Dhabi is no exception and continues to demonstrate remarkable year on year growth.”

The opening was marked by the début of a Spirit of Ecstasy Centenary Collection Phantom Drophead Coupé. One of a collection of 100 highly bespoke Rolls-Royce Phantom models, the cars were built to mark the Centenary of the Spirit of Ecstasy, 100 years since the world’s most recognizable bonnet model was first included in the Rolls-Royce cars.

The beautiful cars were designed with a suite of improved design particulars, with a distinct white-on-black double-R badge, Spirit of Ecstasy enthused coach lines and an emblazoned model suffused in white light springing from its base. The new location is the 82nd in an expanding chain of Rolls-Royce dealers around the world, and the eighth in the Middle East alone, which is proving a popular destination for prestigious car brands from around the world.
